Harambee Family Villages

Register online!

Our Family Villages provide opportunities for building relationships with other adoptive, foster, and kinship families like yours. At monthly gatherings, parents will learn strategies to help their children develop positive racial identity and self-esteem while youth explore African American culture with the support of affirming, positive adults.

Pre-registration is required and registration is limited to ensure adequate staffing for our youth programming. You can register online or by coming to our offices in-person.

If you have any questions, check our FAQ, or contact the program assistant, Aubrey Haddican, at HarambeeVillage@nacac.org.

Please click one of the links below to view locations and dates of our Family Villages.

Please note:

Spring Session is now concluded, and all Family Villages will be taking a summer break.

Fall Session, and new Family Village dates, will begin in October. In-person registration will be available at the Harambee Village Annual BBQ. Online registration will begin at noon on August 18th.

Keep checking our website for Summer Events, or join our mailing list for weekly updates.
