Our Kid Villages offer:

  • Mentoring provided by positive, supportive African American adults
  • Focus on development of positive racial identity and enhancement of self esteem
  • Fun, community-based activities each month
  • Opportunities to develop relationships with other youth who are members of adoptive, foster or kinship families
  • Emphasis on African American culture and community connections
  • Practical daily life skill development

Pre-registration is required and registration is limited to ensure adequate staffing for our youth programming. You can register online or by coming to our offices in-person.

If you have any questions, check our FAQ, or contact the program assistant, Aubrey Haddican, at HarambeeVillage@nacac.org.

Please click one of the links below to see more information about our Kid Villages. You can also check our calendar for upcoming Villages.

Please note:

Spring Session is now concluded, and Kid Villages will be taking a summer break.

Fall Session, and new Kid Village dates, will begin in October. In-person registration will be available at the Harambee Village Annual BBQ. Online registration will begin at noon on August 18th.
