This basic breastfeeding course is targeted toward birth and postpartum professionals, and offers an overview of the building blocks to offer basic, evidence-based breastfeeding and lactation support. This class meets Doulas of North America (DONA) birth doula certification requirements. The instructor is a Certified Lactation Counselor and has personal breastfeeding experience with five wonderful children, totaling 9½ years. She has been practicing as a birth doula and CLC for seven years and has supported thousands of families in various capacities in respect to birthing, breastfeeding and parenting.
