Today Not Tomorrow Dane County Family Resource Center (TNT FRC)

The Today Not Tomorrow Dane County Family Resource Center (TNT FRC) opened on June 7, 2017. TNT FRC is the only community based family Resource Center in Dane County. The Collaborative members that founded the TNT FRC are black women-led organizations: Harambee Village Doulas, Today Not Tomorrow Inc, and the African American Breastfeeding Alliance of Dane County. Past experience of collaborating with members of various communities extends back to the early ’90s for the founding members of the TNT FRC, and is continued today, in an intergenerational fashion through our family support programming.

TNT FRC programming is designed to improve health disparities across the lifespan while simultaneously offering community-based programming and early intervention through an infant mental health and trauma-informed lens. It is diversity-informed, culturally appropriate, and relationship-based and additionally, our unique approaches support social cohesion, builds protective factors, strengthens families, and fosters resilience. It is imperative to support the whole child, and in doing so, requires supporting the family across the socio-ecological spectrum.
